  • Ladies of Zion - reminder that Mission will meet tomorrow 9/8 at 5:30.  Invite a guest.  Sis. Loyce Edmon.
  • A Seasoned Saints Luncheon will be held at Antioch Baptist Church-South on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, De. Garry Roberts, Pastor.  Guest speaker is our 1st Lady, Sis. Vickie Stone.  Come out to support this event.  Church address is 2814 S. 12th St., Waco, Tx 76706.
  • Next Sunday, September 14th, we will celebrate our Annual Men's Day during morning worship.  Our speaker will be Bro. Ryan Reed, from Waco, Tx.  men are encouraged to wear their favorite bow tie with a suit.  Additionally, September is Prostate and Ovarian Cancer and Suicide Awareness month.  The Sigma Phi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. invites the congregation to join in raising awareness and supporting those affected by wearing blue or teal.  information will be provided following morning worship in McClain Hall.
  • Don't forget the 50/50 Men's Day raffle, for tickets, please see a GZ deacon.  The drawing will be held following the Men's Day service in the fellowship hall.
  • Pastor Elect Brill R. Stone, Sr. requests the presence of all Church and Auxiliary leaders on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM in McClain Hall.  "If you are not sure if you should attend, please see Pastor Stone".
  • Casual Sunday will be on the 3rd Sunday, September 17th.  All are asked to wear your "I Love My Church" t-shirts.  We would like to take a group photo following service that morning.
  • Mark your calendars - Sunday, September 21st at 3:00 PM, Pastor Stone and the Greater Zion church family are guest of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Pastor Kenneth Hall, as they celebrate their Church Homecoming.  Church address: 2368 Old Springfield Road, Waco, Tx 76705.
  • We are excited to announce the Pastoral Installation service for Pastor Stoen and 1st Lady Vicki Stone on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM.  The guest speaker will be Rev. Leonard Jones from Mt. Zion BC, Mart, Tx.  The Theme is "Continuing the Work" based on Philippians 1:6.  Come and help us celebrate our new Pastor and First Lady!
  • Join us on Wednesday at 6:00 PM for Bible Study.  This week we will explore 1 John 3:11-24.
  • Morning worship attendance for August 31, 2025: 77
  • Welcome to our new member, Bro. Charles Johnson (homebound)
